Pick-Your-Own (PYO) Crops
Each year we will offer an abundance of Pick-Your-Own (PYO) crops at the farm. These are crops that you pick yourself.
Most produce will be picked and washed for you to choose from here at the farm. However, we offer Pick- Your-Own crops to give farm members the opportunity to get out there in the field and have some fun picking! As a member you have access to annual crops as well as our new and exciting perennial garden.
Whether you pick up your share here at the farm in Madison, just 5 miles north of Colgate University, or pick up in Syracuse at one of our centralized locations we encourage all farm members to come and enjoy the benefits of the farm. Come out with the kids, have a picnic or go for a stroll out in the fields and get some ingredients for dinner.
PYO crops will vary with the seasons
Here are a few of the PYO crops you can enjoy!
- Sugar snap peas
- Green, yellow and purple beans
